I am also exhibiting at the Mogale Museum. My draughting background and inclination have definitely impacted my art. I work with a limited palette in acrylics and oils. I love line, shape and colour and am most contented when mixing creamy oil paints. I love what I do. My first passion is landscapes but I also enjoy doing portraits and figures.I particularly admire the work of JH Pierneef , Louis Audie. I also love the portrait work of Joaquin Sorolla and the Impressionists. Our South African landscape is an inspiration with our rich soils, lighting and mountains and valleys. I love being in South Africa. My favourite quote is Shakespeare’s “To thine own self be true”I hope you enjoy my work
